Tracer Cards 

The inner part travels inside the Patient Record. The colour routes it to the correct Doctor, nurse or other service. The number keeps the records in correct appointment sequence. The outer part stays in the drawer or shelf and marks the re-file position. The colour and number are positive checks against misfiling. When the record is re-filed the two parts join up again and are slotted together for storage.

Both the 'inner' and the 'outer' of the Tracer Set are numbered to order on all sides. We stock nine well contrasted colours (red, green, blue, yellow, pink, orange, mauve, white and mulberry). Where more than nine colours are needed we can provide as many 2-tone variations as desired by combining our plain COLOCODE labels with the eight colours of Tracers that are standard. This is quite effective and is provided free of charge.
